Miramar homes for sale — what buyers should know
Miramar stretches west from the Broward-Miami-Dade line, and the western half is almost entirely master-planned: gated communities, consistent construction quality, and amenity packages built around families. It has become the default answer for buyers who need four bedrooms and a two-car garage without a seven-figure budget.
Townhomes run $400,000 to $550,000, single-family homes $600,000 to $900,000, and the larger estate sections in Riviera Isles and Sunset Lakes reach $1.2 million to $1.8 million. Nearly everything comes with an HOA, and reviewing those documents before contract is a genuine part of due diligence in this market.
The Miramar Town Center provides a civic and retail core with a cultural center and library. The parks system is one of Broward's better ones, and the city's location between I-75, the Turnpike, and the Palmetto makes it workable for households where one person commutes to Miami and the other to Fort Lauderdale.
This suits growing families and move-up buyers who want space, safety, and predictability. Buyers focused on architectural character or walkability will be happier east; buyers focused on square footage per dollar will be happier here.
