Doral homes for sale — what buyers should know
Doral is South Florida's corporate suburb, home to regional headquarters for Carnival, Univision, Telemundo, and dozens of Latin American operations. That employment base gives the residential market a foundation most Miami suburbs lack, and it explains the concentration of Venezuelan, Colombian, and Brazilian families who have made this their South Florida landing point.
Housing is overwhelmingly newer. Townhomes run $500,000 to $750,000, gated single-family homes $800,000 to $1.6 million, and luxury enclaves around the Trump National golf course reach $2.5 million and above. HOA fees are the norm and buy real amenity: pools, gyms, gated entries, and maintained landscaping.
Downtown Doral's town center has given the city an actual pedestrian core with restaurants, a park, and events, and the charter school network there is among the strongest in the county. MIA is a five-minute drive, the Palmetto and Dolphin Expressways bracket the city, and the retail corridor at Dolphin Mall handles everything else.
This suits relocating executives, families who want new construction and don't want a renovation project, and international buyers who value a gated, managed community. The trade-off is uniformity — the architectural variety of the Gables or Miami Shores is not what Doral is selling.
